Brand Manager (FMCG, Nordics)

Job summary

The role involves managing the marketing strategy for a portfolio of brands in the Nordic region, focusing on achieving net revenue, gross margin, and market share targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FMCG Marketing and/or Trade Marketing.
• Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized business school.
• Proven experience in developing marketing strategies that include communication, innovation, and brand marketing.
• Strong understanding of commercial finance and project management skills.
• Experience with AC Nielsen, CATMAN, and other market research tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is advantageous.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create the annual brand plan for the Nordic portfolio, including strategy, initiatives, 4Ps, and financial planning.
• Develop new products based on trade or consumer insights, including opportunity qualification and proposition development.
• Plan yearly ATL communication and media strategies for the Nordic countries, adapting assets and managing communication channels.
• Define assortment, pricing, and promotion KPIs for each channel.
• Track and analyze brand performance using Nielsen and financial reports, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Manage the yearly brand budgets based on ROI and oversee spending.
• Supervise direct reports.
