Job summary

This role involves applying engineering expertise to address challenges related to wind turbine blades, supporting both onshore and offshore operations within the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Strong technical understanding of blade technology and repair methods for resin-based materials is advantageous.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles involving technical, legal, or commercial discussions is desirable.
  • Familiarity with claims processes or End-of-Warranty (EOW) agreements is a plus.

  • Conduct severity assessments of blade damages and define mitigation actions for safe operation.
  • Provide technical support to Service Sales teams and engage directly with customers.
  • Perform on-site inspections of blade damages and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Support commercial teams with technical assessments related to claims and EOW settlements.
  • Act as a technical coordinator in customer dispute cases.
  • Collaborate with Technical Bid Management and Service Operations for contract reviews, providing technical input for risk assessments.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled in simplifying complex technical topics into clear insights.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent documentation skills for clarity and consistency in reporting.
