Backend Software Engineer

Job summary

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and scaling the distributed systems behind a Customer Data Platform that processes large streams of customer data in real time. You will work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality cloud-based SaaS solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in software development/computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with .NET / C#, Scala, SQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes is preferred
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing
• Interest in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy features for the Customer Data Platform, from data ingestion to activation
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and frontend teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Maintain high quality through unit and integration tests and code reviews
• Contribute to shaping architecture, processes, and best practices as the platform evolves
• Manage deployment, operation, and monitoring of your builds in production on Azure
• Prototype and explore new product opportunities with the team
