Job summary

This role involves enhancing global audit and compliance capabilities within a growing data center organization across the Nordic region. The Audit and Assurance Manager will develop and manage the global audit program, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and legal requirements while fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing ISO audit programs in a multi-site, international context.
  • Certification as a Lead or Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, and/or 45001, with practical audit execution experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, audit methodologies (ISO 19011), risk management, and internal controls.
  • Ability to convert external requirements into actionable internal controls.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • Independent and proactive work style with strong cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, EHS, engineering, or a related field, with 4–5 years of experience in audit, assurance, or compliance roles.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Nordic languages and experience in data centers or technology sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and enhance the global audit program covering Integrated Management System (IMS) processes and controls.
  • Coordinate internal audits, ISO certification audits, and customer compliance audits.
  • Serve as the main contact for ISO certification bodies and external auditors.
  • Manage audit findings and ensure timely corrective actions for nonconformities.
  • Conduct HSEQ audits and monitor compliance with ISO standards and legal obligations.
  • Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System for effective implementation.
  • Keep accurate records and assurance reporting, identifying trends and improvement areas.
  • Develop audit-related processes, KPIs, tools, and reporting to enhance governance.
  • Travel to various sites and stakeholders as needed (approximately 25%).

  • Proficient in developing audit-related documentation and reporting.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as quality management, EHS, or engineering.

Tools

  • Familiarity with audit management software and tools for compliance tracking.
