Audio Test Engineer

Job summary

The role involves working within an R&D unit focused on clinical hearing aid testing, supporting audiologists in preparing instruments and conducting tests to ensure the performance of hearing aids.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, with a focus or experience in Acoustics.
• Proficiency in programming, particularly in Matlab and Python.
• Interest in audio, psychoacoustics, and hearing aids.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical audiologists in preparing instruments and test computers for clinical tests.
• Measure the acoustic performance of hearing instruments prior to testing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare for clinical tests, including documentation.
• Set up psychoacoustic tests in sound studios.
• Design and verify clinical test methods.
• Develop and maintain tools and methods for psychoacoustic experiments.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.

Skills

Education
