About the role

Job summary

In this role, you will lead a senior team focused on technology transfer within a large-scale manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies for transferring technology from clients and internal sites while ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Biochemical/Chemical Engineering or a relevant scientific field (PhD preferred).
  • Over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, particularly in CMC process development and GMP manufacturing.
  • At least 7 years of experience in people leadership, managing senior technical leaders and cross-functional program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced technology transfer leads, ensuring clarity in roles and fostering a safe work environment.
  • Manage the technology transfer portfolio, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Implement effective governance processes, including risk management and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and oversee project plans related to regulatory filings and inspection readiness.

Skills

  • Proven leadership in technology transfer and process validation strategies.
  • Strong program management skills with expertise in risk management and change control.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in complex environments.

Education

  • Master's degree in Biochemical/Chemical Engineering or a relevant scientific field; PhD is an advantage.

Tools

  • Familiarity with Quality by Design (QbD), statistics for process control, and regulatory expectations for filings and inspections.
