Job summary

The Associate Director of Public Affairs will lead the public affairs strategy in Denmark, focusing on policy change and shaping the external environment for therapeutic areas including Neuroscience and Cardiometabolic Health. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including government officials and patient advocacy groups, to enhance access to medicines and improve the commercial landscape.

Qualifications

• Established network within the Danish government, payers, and healthcare system.
• Senior-level experience in government, public affairs, or healthcare.
• Passion for healthcare politics and policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a public affairs strategy to improve access to medicines.
• Collaborate with the Nordic Corporate Affairs team and contribute to initiatives across Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
• Engage with patient and advocacy groups to advocate for patient voices.
• Partner with the EU team on communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Support media handling and crisis communications within the Nordics.
• Lead system readiness initiatives for future pipeline projects.

Skills

• Experience in integrated public affairs and communications campaigns.
• Background in politics, communications, journalism, or public policy.
• Proficiency in AI and ML tools and data analytics software.

Education

• Relevant degree in a related field preferred.

• Familiarity with data analytics software and AI tools.
