  • Teach and supervise students in Bachelor and Master programs in engineering.
  • Develop an independent research profile and publish high-quality research outputs.
  • Apply for research grants and contribute to collaborative funding applications.
  • Engage with industry partners and other academic institutions to foster collaboration.

Skills

  • Experience in data-driven operations, digital twins, and machine learning applications in maritime contexts.
  • Knowledge of ship stability, vibration reduction, and comfort analysis.
  • Experience in teaching, course development, and supervising PhD students is preferred.

Education

  • A completed PhD in a relevant field is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with research methodologies in mechanical engineering and naval architecture, as well as tools for data analysis and simulation.
