Applied AI Scientist

Job summary

The role involves leveraging applied AI to enhance commercial and operational functions within the Hearing Care sector. The Applied AI Scientist will work closely with stakeholders to develop scalable, production-ready AI solutions that address business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• Practical experience in designing and building GenAI applications, AI assistants, or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users and IT stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate them into solution concepts.
• Design and build applied AI solutions, focusing on quality improvement through various engineering strategies.
• Establish evaluation methods for AI solutions, including automated quality checks and human review processes.
• Balance quality, speed, cost, and risk in AI solution development.
• Work with MLOps and Data Engineers to transition solutions from prototype to scalable production.

Skills

• Proficiency in prompt and context engineering, retrieval strategies, and RAG optimization.
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks such as LangChain and cloud AI platforms like Google Vertex AI.
• Ability to communicate AI concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

• Experience with modern AI orchestration frameworks and cloud AI platforms.
