Applications Engineer I (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves conducting various technical activities related to applications engineering and customer support within the Sales Engineering team. The position is focused on product development and providing technical assistance to customers and sales personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with testing instruments such as spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with PC office applications and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and test solutions for unique technical challenges.
• Define new products and features, and conduct product evaluations and field trials.
• Provide technical support to customers and the sales team through troubleshooting and system integration.
• Offer live support during standard European working hours.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams for field testing and validation.
• Prepare documentation and content for customer support.
• Assist with RMA and Loaner teams by providing guidance and recommendations.
• Travel up to 25% for in-person support and training.

Skills

• Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.
• Experience with IP radios/modems and wireless communication systems.
• Familiarity with Linux and programming languages such as Python or C/C++.

Tools

• Spectrum analyzers, multimeters, signal generators, and other RF and data network test equipment.
