Analyst (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves joining a finance team focused on financial reporting, accounting, and compliance for a portfolio of companies in the renewable energy sector. The position is based in Copenhagen and requires collaboration with international teams across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Final year BSc or first-year MSc student in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.
• Previous experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Control accounts, including cost and balance sheet controlling.
• Assist in transaction processes to support investment activities.
• Report on financial performance to investment teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance accounting processes.
• Conduct data processing and BI-Reporting to improve finance operations.
• Assist in establishing new investment structures for the EMEA region.
• Review internal and external reports, including tax reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and assist in securing bank access.

Skills

• Strong structured problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Interest in operational finance and renewable energy assets.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or Auditing.
