This position involves providing exceptional travel management services to federal clients, focusing on defense and government travelers. The role requires creating and managing travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with client preferences, and addressing any travel-related issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or 5 years in a customer service role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Sabre.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal Government contract.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange domestic and international travel for clients, including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation.
  • Ensure all reservations meet client standards and preferences.
  • Provide informed recommendations to enhance the travel experience.
  • Manage a variety of bookings, from simple to complex itineraries.
  • Resolve issues that may arise before or during travel assignments.

Skills

Education

  • Relevant experience in travel consulting or customer service.
