Advisory Accountant (On-site)

Job summary

This role involves providing advisory services in accounting, audit, tax, and payroll for clients in the middle market. The position requires a thorough understanding of clients' needs, industry standards, and internal control systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' needs and expectations, including their business environment and accounting systems.
• Gain familiarity with ITC audit automation methods and ERP tools.
• Evaluate risks and assess the client's internal control framework.
• Conduct substantive testing and internal control assessments to address accounting or reporting challenges.
• Prepare financial statements according to established formats.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 90 credit hours towards a B.A. / B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CIMA examinations.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and internal controls.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (in progress or completed).

Tools

• Familiarity with ERP systems and audit automation tools.
