Job summary

The Administrative Associate role is essential for providing administrative support to the Supply Chain Management Unit (SCMU). This position involves strategic oversight and management of administrative services to ensure efficient operations within the unit.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general office administrative needs, including managing office space and supplies.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage logistics for conferences and meetings.
  • Act as the focal point for SCMU’s fixed assets and manage procurement processes.
  • Implement capacity-strengthening initiatives and provide training to supply chain professionals.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and support partnerships with donors and stakeholders.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and office management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education

  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
