Job summary

This position involves supporting the financial management within a global supply division, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in financial transactions related to procurement and supply chain services. The role is critical in maintaining financial integrity and transparency, contributing to effective resource management and program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education with a commercial college certificate in accounting; university-level courses in accounting, business, or finance are preferred.
  • At least six years of accounting experience, ideally in an international or governmental non-profit organization, with a focus on computerized environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute accurate and timely financial transactions within the Procurement Services Accounting and Reporting Unit.
  • Ensure financial information is reliable for decision-making processes.
  • Maintain transparent and audit-ready financial processes to uphold financial stewardship.
  • Support financial accountability to donors and partners by aligning transactions with applicable rules and agreements.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education

  • Secondary education with a commercial college certificate in accounting; university-level courses in accounting, business, or finance are highly desirable.

Tools

  • Familiarity with financial management software and systems used in accounting and procurement processes.
