Accountant (Renewable Energy, Full-time, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves supporting complex renewable energy projects, particularly in offshore wind, by managing accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The position is integral to the energy transition and offers the chance to contribute to significant infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Academic or post-graduate degree in finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international context.
• Familiarity with accounting processes in a global environment.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a drive for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reconciliations.
• Support annual reporting and ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate group reporting in line with corporate requirements.
• Act as a key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and support transformation projects.
• Handle monthly VAT reporting.
