Warehouse Manager

Job summary

The Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in establishing and managing maintenance workshops for a specific project in Aarhus and Copenhagen. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to define and oversee logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Experience or understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes
• Familiarity with SAP and experience with IR scanner systems is advantageous
• Proven ability to define and implement logistics strategies and processes
• Forklift certification
• Driver's license and experience with cranes are considered a plus
• Basic knowledge of warehouse activities and a mindset for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide a long-term vision for the team, set annual goals and KPIs, support and coach team members, conduct performance evaluations, and recognize efforts
• Ensure logistics operators adhere to established warehouse processes
• Manage logistics operators' activities and adjust efforts based on warehouse workload
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to establish and optimize logistics and warehouse routines
• Oversee the operational handling of warehouse deliveries, including materials and equipment management
• Define daily operational routines and strategies for material flow between depots
