Job summary

The role involves enhancing the security posture of the organization by prioritizing vulnerabilities and reducing the attack surface. The Vulnerability Engineer will contribute to the development of the vulnerability management program and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to automate processes.

Qualifications

  • Degree or master's in security, computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in detecting, analyzing, mitigating, and reporting vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to understand complex vulnerabilities and define remediation actions.
  • Skills in conducting vulnerability scans and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with automation concepts and scripting languages.
  • Experience with ITSM systems like ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7 or Nessus.
  • Experience with asset management tools like Tanium.
  • Hands-on experience in penetration testing or incident response is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination across teams.
