Cloud Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves working as a Cloud Engineer within the IT Infrastructure and Operations team, focusing on Microsoft Azure cloud services and modernization of system landscapes in a regulated life-science environment.

Qualifications

• A few years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services in a similar technical role.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID, including Conditional Access and modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Understanding of core networking (DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls) and email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Exposure to regulated environments such as GxP-compliant systems is advantageous; relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously enhance Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and platform services.
• Automate cloud and identity operations using PowerShell and Azure Automation.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, managing Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Maintain email authentication and troubleshoot identity-related issues across various protocols.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant cloud solutions.
