The Managing Director is a senior executive responsible for leading a significant partnership with a large pharmaceutical client, focusing on clinical strategic operations. Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in Clinical Development and Clinical Operations.
  • Strong grasp of Pharma/Biotech business models and challenges.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, or related fields, including clinical operations, commercial, business development, project management, data management, and pre-clinical.
  • Proven experience in senior client management and partnership development, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong matrix leadership and cultural agility across global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results that meet customer and company expectations.
  • Solid financial analysis skills and strategic decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to design and implement strategic and tactical customer plans.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior operational liaison between the company and the client's clinical development organization.
  • Lead the Preferred Provider Partnership, shaping strategic resourcing models and identifying collaboration opportunities.
  • Mobilize global company functions to proactively address client needs.
  • Drive organic growth, customer market share expansion, and client satisfaction.
  • Chair Operational Governance Committees and manage operational escalations.
  • Ensure effective delivery across Global Product Development, consolidating resources and sharing best practices.
  • Manage program risk across the client's development portfolio.
  • Collaborate with teams to track and optimize delivery performance.
  • Support financial tracking and partnership opportunities, driving annual revenues of at least $100M.
