Global Clinical Lead (Neurology, Valby)

Job summary

Lead the global clinical development strategy for innovative therapies targeting migraine prevention and related neurological disorders. This role involves significant leadership responsibilities in late-stage clinical development, including Phase III readiness and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialist training and substantial clinical experience, preferably in Neurology, Headache Disorders, or Pain Medicine.
• PhD and/or significant scientific research experience is highly desirable.
• 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical development, particularly in late-stage clinical development and Phase III trial design.
• Experience as Clinical Lead or in a similar leadership role for global clinical development programs.
• Preferred experience in migraine, headache disorders, or related neuro specialties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global clinical development strategy for assigned programs.
• Chair and lead the Clinical Focus Team (CFT).
• Represent Clinical Development on the Global Program Team (GPT).
• Provide medical and scientific leadership for Phase II, Phase III, and post-registration studies.
• Oversee medical aspects of regulatory interactions and submissions.
• Conduct benefit-risk assessments and engage with key external experts.

Skills

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior governance bodies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong scientific presentation skills, including engagement with health authorities and key opinion leaders.

Education

• MD with specialist training; PhD preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with clinical development tools and regulatory submission processes.
