Job summary

The Consultant, VAT Recovery is a specialized role focused on providing expert advice regarding value-added tax matters. This position involves identifying capital leakage and ensuring the accuracy of clients' accounts payable ledgers, simplifying ledger management, and rectifying incorrect transactions that incur costs for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of interpreting complex VAT regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify improvement areas and recommend compliance solutions.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and related issues, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.
• Analyze customer data to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Stay informed on VAT developments and communicate their implications to clients.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and tax teams to provide integrated VAT solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
