UX Research Operations Assistant (Remote, Student Role)

Job summary

This position supports the UX Research team by managing the operational aspects of a continuous interviewing program aimed at generating qualitative insights from users. The role involves scheduling, participant tracking, data processing, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master's program in psychology, cognitive science, HCI, information science, social science, design, or a related field.
• Aspiring to build a career in user research or research operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Comfortable working with multiple digital tools and quick to learn new technologies.
• Resourceful in finding practical solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ability to follow structured processes and flag issues proactively.
• Motivated to enhance processes and take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making decisions independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the weekly operations cycle for active research programs, including data collection and team updates.
• Handle participant communications, ensuring timely follow-ups and incentive payments.
• Process transcripts for AI analysis, preparing sessions for synthesis.
• Assist in the technical setup for new programs, including participant recruitment and legal documentation.
• Coordinate translations for non-English programs and review for accuracy.
• Identify and propose improvements for manual processes.
• Maintain and enhance process documentation for program resilience.
