UX Designer (Contract, Remote)

Job summary

The UX Designer will focus on designing a complex desktop application used by hearing care professionals worldwide. This role involves creating user-centered design concepts, prototypes, and specifications while collaborating with cross-functional teams across different locations.

Qualifications

• Strong visual communication skills for design mockups
• Effective verbal communication to articulate design decisions

• Experience with desktop applications, specifically Windows-based software
• Background in designing B2B products with intricate functionalities
• Ability to iterate designs through extensive research and testing phases

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient and enjoyable UX flows for users
• Visualize, prototype, and refine new designs based on feedback
• Prepare designs for development using the existing design system
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the design system
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders

Skills

• Proficiency in UX design tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with user testing and feedback incorporation
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects

Education

• Relevant degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with design software and prototyping tools suitable for UX design.
