Job summary

This position offers a three-year full-time PhD scholarship focused on the project examining the interplay between ownership and democracy in land-use transformations. The research will explore how property rights affect democratic decision-making and land governance, utilizing historical analysis, fieldwork, and political theory.

Qualifications

  • A master's degree in relevant fields such as history, political science, or anthropology.
  • Strong academic performance and understanding of research methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a research proposal addressing property rights and the Green Tripartite Agreement.
  • Engage in independent research while collaborating with supervisors and peers.
  • Participate in PhD courses, teaching, and supervision of undergraduate students.
  • Present research at conferences and engage with societal actors.
  • Contribute to the academic and social environment of the department.

Skills

Education

  • Applicants must hold (or be close to completing) a master's degree of 120 ECTS or equivalent qualifications.
