Job summary

The Turnover Lead is responsible for overseeing the turnover process within mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while leading a team of engineers. This role involves coordinating testing activities and managing project status updates.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Familiarity with industry safety and quality policies.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Project Manager.
  • Lead a team of Turnover Engineers and QA Line Walkers.
  • Ensure all walkdowns are conducted with IFC documentation.
  • Oversee tracking of Weld Qualifications and Weld logs.
  • Build out Eida to meet Digital Test Pack requirements.
  • Coordinate non-destructive testing activities.
  • Ensure pressure testing is performed according to specifications.
  • Break down large systems into manageable testing limits.
  • Attend project Turnover meetings to report on system status.
  • Chair internal weekly turnover meetings to keep systems on track.
  • Manage the efficient closeout of punch items.
  • Schedule all walkdowns for both OSM and site activities.
  • Complete RVs and equipment placements on Eida.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and engineering software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

  • Relevant degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with Eida and other engineering management tools.
