Trading Solutions Software Engineer

Job summary

As a Trading Solutions Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performance software that supports energy trading and market operations. Your work will involve designing and implementing services and APIs using modern .NET technologies to facilitate trading workflows and ensure reliable data flows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with .NET (C#, .NET 8/9/10) and distributed systems.
• Strong background in trading platforms and post-trade processes, including settlements and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with energy trading, particularly in power and gas markets, and preferably in renewables.
• Proficient in cloud technologies (ideally AWS), CI/CD practices, and secure engineering methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput services and APIs for trading and post-trade workflows.
• Integrate with external venues, TSOs/DSOs, brokers, and market data providers, focusing on reliability and observability.
• Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD, automated testing, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
• Mentor team members and collaborate closely with traders and analysts to clarify requirements.

Education
