About the role

Job summary

The Technology Optimisation Manager will drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and emerging technologies to enhance delivery outcomes. This role involves collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies that boost productivity, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software engineering, architecture, or platform engineering.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI and automation, and their application in engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and workflows that enhance developer experience and software delivery.
  • Understanding of secure software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in defining KPIs for continuous improvement (preferred).
