Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in Android components and familiar with building or contributing to Android applications.
• Strong product design intuition and user empathy.
• Excellent communication skills and a user-oriented problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of major features and collaborate closely with the design team to deliver high-quality app features.
• Shape the future direction of the Android team and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Engage in cross-team discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Review code contributions and support team members.
• Manage feature releases and provide nightly builds for quality assurance.

Skills

• Expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android UI/UX principles.
• Understanding of testing importance and experience with writing tests.
• Self-motivated to enhance the app and codebase beyond initial specifications.

Tools

• Kotlin, Jetpack Navigation, Room, Custom Views, Jetpack Compose, JUnit.
