Team Lead – Software Platform Engineering

Job summary

This leadership position focuses on managing and developing a core software platform that supports a large global software ecosystem. The role involves leading a team of engineers to enhance software development processes and ensure a seamless developer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in leading a software engineering team, formally or informally
• Strong understanding of modern development practices (DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native, security)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 8–12 engineers
• Own and execute the platform roadmap as the Technical Product Owner
• Create a frictionless, self-service experience for developers
• Integrate security, compliance, and best practices into the platform
• Utilize AI to improve developer productivity and platform capabilities
• Promote alignment with architecture and platform strategy across the organization
