About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting sustainability initiatives within a global pharmaceutical organization, focusing on translating sustainability commitments into actionable plans over an 18-month maternity cover period.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in sustainability within a multinational corporate environment or as an external consultant.
  • Relevant academic background in business, economics, social, or natural sciences.
  • Familiarity with OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on sustainability action plans and develop related policies and communications while collaborating with various internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the annual double materiality assessment process, providing guidance on methodology and sustainability impacts.
  • Contribute to sustainability reporting for the Annual Report and quarterly updates.
  • Assist with tasks related to the Sustainability Committee, including meeting planning and material preparation.

Skills

  • Strong English communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in planning, optimizing, and executing processes, with an openness to utilizing AI for efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and work collaboratively within a team.

Education

  • A degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, social sciences, or natural sciences.

Tools

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting tools and methodologies, as well as risk and impact assessment frameworks.
