Supply Chain Development Manager (Logistics, Remote)

Job summary

The Supply Chain Development Manager is responsible for enhancing supply chain processes and capabilities across the North Europe cluster, focusing on continuous improvement in quality, service, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves implementing the Do It Best program and driving new capabilities throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred
• Extensive experience in supply chain management within a global or European context
• Proven project management experience in logistics and supply chain
• Strong analytical skills, familiarity with digital tools like Power BI is a plus
• Excellent influencing and collaboration skills in a matrix organization
• Knowledge of LEAN concepts and value stream mapping

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of supply chain performance across the North Europe cluster
• Implement new technical and digital solutions for processes and systems
• Standardize and harmonize processes and reporting within the cluster
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive cost savings and sustainability initiatives
• Manage the Cost to Serve tool and related initiatives
• Oversee the 3PL tender process and manage transitions effectively
• Support changes to route-to-market strategies
• Represent the cluster in regional supply chain and sustainability forums
• Develop standard operating procedures and provide training
• Act as PMO for supply chain project delivery
• Champion logistics sustainability initiatives

Education
