Student Worker in Financial Services (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This position offers a student the opportunity to gain practical experience in Financial Services within a collaborative team in a Nordic organization. The role involves supporting day-to-day financial processes and taking ownership of specific tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Business Economics, Finance) with at least two years remaining.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end activities by preparing reconciliations and ensuring account accuracy.
• Gradually take ownership of selected accounting processes across Nordic entities.
• Ensure compliance with local finance regulations and internal controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Financial Services.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Initiative and ownership of tasks, approaching challenges with curiosity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP and/or Power BI is a plus but not required.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program with at least two years left.

Tools

• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with SAP and Power BI is beneficial.
