Student Software Engineer (On-site, Hørsholm)

Job summary

This role is designed for bachelor's or master's students interested in software development, data handling, and problem-solving within a business context. The position focuses on building data foundations and applications to support the transition to an AI-native company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, AI, or a related field.
• Familiarity with frontend, backend, databases, and APIs.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, SQL databases, data warehouses, and data integration.
• Knowledge of software design, system architecture, and automated testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using AI coding agents and understanding context engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate user needs into practical solutions.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new challenges.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with colleagues to identify software and automation opportunities.
• Develop user stories, product requirements, prototypes, and working solutions based on findings.
• Create end-to-end solutions encompassing frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Manage AI coding agents, review their outputs, and ensure quality and design standards are met.

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, Azure Ecosystem is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, SQL, and frameworks like React is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI agent development concepts is beneficial but not required.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program at a university.

Tools

• Familiarity with software development tools and environments relevant to the role.
