Student R&D Engineer (AI/LLM and Software Engineering)

Job summary

This role involves hands-on experimentation with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) while developing proof-of-concept software capabilities. The position focuses on backend software development using Microsoft .NET (C#) and includes responsibilities for modifying web-based user interfaces and maintaining desktop applications. Collaboration with R&D engineers is essential for evaluating new technologies and creating working prototypes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecom, or a related field.
• Experience in software development using C# and Microsoft .NET.
• Basic knowledge of web development and TypeScript.
• Interest or knowledge in AI, LLMs, and modern software development tools.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and communicating effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Experiment with AI and LLMs to develop new software capabilities.
• Develop backend software and contribute to feature design and implementation.
• Modify and maintain web-based user interfaces using modern technologies.
• Develop and maintain desktop applications in C#.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers to evaluate technologies and create prototypes.
• Support testing, validation, and documentation of software solutions.

Skills

• Experience with AI/LLM technologies and AI-assisted software development tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with backend software architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and frontend development.
• Knowledge of source control systems like Git.
• Experience with desktop applications using WPF or WinForms.
• Interest in wireless communications and 5G/6G systems.
• Experience with Docker for developing and testing containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Python for prototyping or data analysis.

Education

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.
