Job summary

This position involves supporting usability engineering in the development of medical devices, particularly hearing aids. The role includes a mix of administrative tasks and hands-on involvement in usability and co-creation activities with end users and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as design and innovation engineering, with at least two years remaining until graduation.
  • Highly motivated and responsible, with the ability to manage varying demands on time.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and report on usability studies.
  • Set up and manage surveys.
  • Assist in co-creation activities and workshops.
  • Maintain a database of test participants and recruit them as needed.
  • Develop prototypes for testing purposes.
  • Design and proofread presentations and usability documentation.
  • Transcribe and organize various materials, including video files and logbooks.
  • Conduct analysis of competitor products.
  • Support event preparation and user engagement activities.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic graphical design skills for instructional materials.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant degree program, preferably with a focus on design and innovation.

Tools

  • Familiarity with usability testing tools, survey platforms, and design software is beneficial.
