Principal UX Domain Architect

Job summary

The Principal UX Domain Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring UX integrity across products and platforms within the R&D department. This position focuses on bridging UX strategy and execution, contributing to the development of customer-centric product experiences.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in design, engineering, human-computer interaction, psychology, digital product development, or a related field.
• Significant experience in strategic UX roles within complex product organizations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Experience Planning and Enterprise Architects to integrate UX into Architecture Visions and Strategic Themes.
• Anchor solutions in customer and user value to facilitate early decision-making and alignment across teams.
• Define and maintain shared UX principles and a UX architecture runway for consistent cross-platform experiences.
• Support Epic definition, ensuring UX needs are included in enablers, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.
• Work with Lean UX Center of Excellence leads to shape standards, governance, and ensure built-in UX quality.
• Establish UX metrics to define success, support continuous improvement, and escalate significant UX risks.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and align stakeholders.
• Experience with cross-platform product ecosystems and large-scale development frameworks such as SAFe.

Education

• Relevant academic qualifications in design, engineering, or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with UX design tools and methodologies, Agile frameworks, and metrics for UX evaluation.
