Student Assistant - Mechanical Engineering

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Mechanical Engineering team in the development and verification of hearing aid products through hands-on testing and engineering support activities. The position offers practical experience in product development while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Design & Innovation, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field at a University in Denmark.
• Interest in product development, testing, and mechanical design.
• Basic CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or similar) is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in both laboratory and computer-based environments.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures accurately.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and reliability tests according to defined procedures.
• Prepare test setups, fixtures, and samples.
• Document test results and observations.
• Collect, organize, and maintain test data.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analyses.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and test facilities.
• Assist engineers with CAD modeling and drawing updates.
• Help with prototype assembly and evaluation.
• Maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Participate in engineering projects and ad hoc technical tasks.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's program.

Tools

• CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or similar).
