Student Assistant - AI Product Designer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves assisting in the design and prototyping of user-facing AI solutions, focusing on creating engaging and functional applications and demos. The position is hands-on and requires collaboration with an AI Lead to develop innovative AI-powered experiences.

Qualifications

• Currently studying product design, interaction design, UX/UI design, service design, creative technology, computer science, or related fields.
• Strong foundational skills in UX and UI design, particularly with Figma.
• A portfolio showcasing digital product design work is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user-facing AI experiences for various industries, including automotive and retail.
• Create product experiences, user flows, and interface concepts in Figma.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to transform designs into working prototypes.
• Prepare prototypes and demos for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers to refine prototypes into product-ready applications.
• Conduct research on modern AI products and interaction patterns.

Skills

• Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to conceptualize user journeys and experiences.
• Interest in AI products and new forms of human-AI interaction.
• Experience with coding or AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program is necessary.

Tools

• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
