Staff Software Engineer

Job summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete product development process, serving as a technical guide and architect while collaborating with various teams to implement solutions effectively.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems.
• Proven expertise in at least one layer of the technical stack, particularly PHP and Angular.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Experience in product development emphasizing quality and value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering efforts without direct management responsibilities.
• Define technical direction and actively participate in architectural and software design discussions.
• Promote good engineering practices for testing, deployment, and observability.
• Enhance engineering quality and performance through reference implementations and evolving code standards.

Skills

• Expert knowledge in PHP and Angular.
• Strong communication skills for discussing strategic trade-offs and mentoring colleagues.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

Tools

• PHP with Laravel, Angular 22, TailwindCSS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Claude Code, and AWS serverless infrastructure.
