Staff Front-End Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role is a senior individual contributor position focused on front-end architecture for a complex merchant platform managing global payments. The engineer will define and guide technical direction across teams, enhancing merchant interactions from onboarding to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience at a Staff or Principal Engineer level in front-end engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a background in developing large-scale applications.
• In-depth knowledge of front-end architecture, including state management and performance optimization.
• Proven track record in defining and scaling design systems and reusable front-end components.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with platform, fintech, or payments environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
