Software Engineer (On-site, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves utilizing software engineering skills to tackle complex technical challenges, focusing on the design and development of application frameworks for a core platform used by pension and insurance providers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar position.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and interest in related technologies and architecture.
• Motivation to learn the technology stack, including Java, Hibernate, Gradle, Microsoft SQL Server, GitLab, Docker, and Rancher.
• Professional proficiency in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Design and develop new solutions, spending approximately 80% of time on coding.
• Test, document, and implement solutions to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs while continuously improving the platform.
