Software Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

This role involves supporting, enhancing, and expanding SAP-based warehouse applications utilized in global warehouses and factories. The position focuses on developing new features, managing warehouse expansions, and integrating vendor systems while collaborating with business users and engineers to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development, testing, SAP customization, engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and documentation.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and solution delivery.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or similar operational environments.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a curious, adaptable mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support, enhance, and expand SAP-based warehouse applications globally.
• Design, test, and implement new functionalities for warehouse operations and expansions.
• Assist end users and resolve operational challenges.
• Participate in projects involving warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and offshore teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation and test cases for new developments.
• Work closely with product management and users to maximize business value.

Skills

• Knowledge of SAP customization and SAP ABAP is preferred.
• Experience with warehousing operations and production or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development or related fields.

Tools

• SAP and related software development tools.
