Qualifications

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience in building and operating production systems
• Familiarity with modern backend and cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Ownership of problem-solving in customer contexts
• Experience in payments, e-commerce, SaaS platforms, or fintech is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions for online payments
• Develop merchant- and customer-facing features, APIs, and services
• Own features from design through deployment and maintenance
• Enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systems
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver value
• Engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
• Contribute to testing, deployment, and operational excellence
• Work with other engineering teams to create integrated solutions
• Improve engineering practices and development workflows

Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience with Docker and AWS
• Frontend skills in TypeScript, React, and testing frameworks like Jest

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
