Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of tools and gameplay features for Unreal Engine, specifically aimed at enhancing the experience for LEGO® game developers. The position requires breaking down tasks into manageable steps and collaborating with various teams to improve tools for UEFN and Unreal Engine.

Qualifications

  • Several years of hands-on experience with C++.
  • Proficient in Unreal Engine 5, including APIs and tool building.
  • Experience in shipping tools or features within Unreal Engine.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Foster creativity by developing user-friendly tools for game creators.
  • Enhance the delivery pipeline for Gaming Technologies in Unreal Engine environments.
  • Provide technical support and optimize rendering issues.
  • Engage in continuous improvement through refactoring and exploring new technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering documentation.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of discrete math, algorithms, and linear algebra is a plus.
  • Familiarity with graphics programming and optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of networked game principles in real-time applications.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

Tools

  • Unreal Engine, C++, Perforce.
