Software Engineer (Data Compliance, Billund)

Job summary

This role involves developing tools and services on an enterprise data platform to facilitate compliant data handling. The position is focused on creating APIs and user interfaces that support data engineers and analysts in meeting compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development using Python, API design, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to work effectively in SCRUM teams and convert requirements into deliverable increments.
• Proficient in English for effective collaboration across various teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop compliance APIs and interfaces to assist data engineers and analysts.
• Create essential services for compliant data handling, including access management and personal data processing.
• Collaborate with Data Platform colleagues to ensure integration with all platform components.
• Share best practices in SCRUM delivery, testing, and integration within the team.

Skills

• Familiarity with Databricks or similar SaaS data platforms is a plus.
• Experience with testing methodologies and integration techniques in engineering.
• Understanding of data engineering principles and compliant personal data management.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

Tools

• Python, Terraform, Typescript, and common data engineering practices.
