Software Engineer (Platform, Remote)

Job summary

The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining backend services that support various functionalities including payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech capabilities. Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, and consumption tracking
• Oversee the backend API landscape, focusing on performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, addressing customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture aligns with product strategy and user experience
