Job summary

The Short Term Planner will manage the staff planning for the Cargo department, ensuring the right personnel with appropriate qualifications are scheduled effectively while balancing quality and cost considerations. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including managers, employees, unions, and system specialists, and requires initiative in adapting to a new planning system.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in Logistics or Transport
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data handling
  • Analytical mindset with a strong drive for results
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while being efficient
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Proven capability to manage change

Responsibilities

  • Oversee short-term staff planning for the Cargo department
  • Coordinate with managers, employees, unions, and system specialists
  • Support planning for other departments within Ground operations as needed
  • Identify and implement more automated working methods during system transformation

Skills

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges

Education

  • University degree in Logistics or Transport preferred
