Sensory Panel Lead (FMCG, Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves leading a sensory panel within a dynamic team focused on product intelligence at an innovation center. It is a maternity cover position expected to start on November 16th or as soon as possible thereafter.

Qualifications

• Background in applied sensory science related to food, flavor, or ingredients.
• Experience conducting sensory analyses with trained panels.
• Familiarity with a variety of sensory methodologies and basic statistical knowledge, including uni- and multivariate analyses.
• Proficiency in Danish is essential for working with a local panel.

Responsibilities

• Guide stakeholders in selecting appropriate test setups for sensory evaluations.
• Train and develop panel competencies in specific areas.
• Plan, set up, and facilitate sensory evaluations with the trained panel.
• Maintain panel retention and monitor performance for improvement.
• Report results based on statistical analyses.
• Contribute sensory expertise to ongoing projects and align with the global panel lead team.
