About the role

Job summary

The role involves leading the user experience design for a platform that simplifies GxP compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. The Senior UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and customers to enhance the usability of complex workflows.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in user discovery, including customer interviews and journey mapping in regulated environments.
  • Strong background in B2B product design, particularly where software integrates with hardware (IoT, devices).
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for engaging both customers and engineers.
  • Interest in AI-driven prototyping tools and staying updated on industry trends.
  • A pragmatic approach to design, valuing progress over perfection, and comfortable working across UX, product, and engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in scaleups and exposure to regulated industries (pharma/healthcare) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user discovery through site visits and interviews to understand real-world challenges.
  • Simplify complex, regulated workflows into user-friendly concepts.
  • Rapidly prototype using AI-enabled tools such as Figma and Lovable.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers from initial sketches to final features.
  • Ensure smooth handovers utilizing a component library.
  • Analyze product performance with PMs to assess the effectiveness of shipped features.
